Privacy Policy

Who we are

This website is operated by Vistarela LLC (“Vistarela,” “we,” “us”), a web and business systems studio based in Southwest Florida. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you enter: your name, business name, email address, phone number, your current website address, what you need help with, your description of the project, any features you mention, your approximate budget and timing, your preferred contact method, and any additional details you choose to share. Only your name, email address, a description and a contact preference are required.

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive personal information. Please do not send payment card numbers, bank details, government identification numbers, health information, or passwords through this website. If you send us sensitive information anyway, we will delete it.

How you found us

When you submit the contact form, we include a small amount of context about how you reached the site: any campaign parameters in the link you clicked, Google’s advertising click identifier if you arrived from one of our ads, the first page of your visit, and the website that referred you. This tells us which of our own marketing produced an inquiry.

This is held in your browser’s session storage for the duration of your visit and is not a cookie, not shared with any third party, and not sent anywhere unless you choose to submit the form. It describes a click, not a person, and it is cleared when you close the tab.

Information collected automatically

If analytics is enabled on this site, we collect standard usage information such as which pages were viewed, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, referring website, and general device and browser type. We configure analytics to anonymize IP addresses and to disable advertising and cross-device tracking features.

We deliberately do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, or the contents of your messages to any analytics platform.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not use cookies for advertising or for building profiles about you. If analytics is enabled, the analytics provider may set cookies to distinguish one visit from another and to measure how the site is used.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The website will continue to function normally if you do.

How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiry and answer your questions
• To prepare a proposal, quote, or website concept when you request one
• To provide and support services you engage us for
• To understand how the website is used, so we can improve it
• To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Service providers

We use a small number of third-party services to run this website. These providers only process information on our behalf, and only as needed to deliver their service:

• Website hosting — serves the pages you are reading and keeps standard server logs.
• Email delivery — delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox.
• Analytics — measures aggregate site usage, when enabled.
• Scheduling — if you book a call through our scheduling link, that provider collects the details you enter under its own privacy policy.

Data retention

We keep contact-form inquiries for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our business communications. If an inquiry does not become a project, we remove it once it is no longer useful. For clients, we retain project records for as long as required by our agreement and by law.

Your requests

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, or delete your information. Contact us using the details below and we will respond as promptly as we reasonably can.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Florida Digital Bill of Rights or the California Consumer Privacy Act. We will honor valid requests under any law that applies to you.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information submitted through this website, including encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is intended for business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here.
