Google visibility & local search

Getting found on Google, in the places local customers actually look.

Your Google listing, the searches you show up for, and advertising when you want customers sooner. Explained in plain language, with your accounts staying in your name and your ad budget staying yours.

What this is

The short version.

There are two places a local customer finds you on Google, and they work differently. The first is the map listing — the box with your name, star rating, photos and directions. The second is the ordinary results underneath. For most local service searches, the map listing is what people act on, and it is the part most businesses have not touched since they set it up.

Local search work is unglamorous and specific: keeping that listing accurate and active, making sure every service you sell has a page that says so clearly, telling Google where you actually work, and fixing the technical things that stop pages being read properly. It is slow — a few months rather than a few weeks — and it keeps working after you stop paying for it.

Google Ads is the fast half. You pay Google to put your business at the top when somebody searches for what you do, and it starts producing visits within days. You choose the services and areas you advertise and you set the budget. Managing it means adjusting the campaigns rather than switching them on and walking away.

Underneath all of it is the part that makes the rest arguable: counting what came in. Calls and form submissions are tracked, and paid clicks are matched to the inquiries they produced, so the monthly conversation is about how many people got in touch rather than about how many people looked.

Who it suits

  • Established local businesses that are not appearing when people search nearby
  • Owners whose Google listing was set up years ago and never updated
  • Businesses paying for advertising without being able to see what it produced
  • Companies whose referral volume has dropped and who need another way in
  • Anyone who has been sold traffic before and wants to talk about calls instead

Vistarela works with businesses across Cape Coral, Fort Myers & Southwest Florida. We're based in Southwest Florida and work remotely with businesses elsewhere when the project suits it.

What it solves

The problems this is usually bought to fix.

If none of these sound familiar, this probably is not the right service — and we will say so.
  • Competitors appear in the map and you don't

The listing carries most of the weight for local searches, and an out-of-date one is treated as a less reliable answer than an active one.

  • The website exists but nothing finds it

Looking credible and being findable are separate jobs. A site with no service pages and no location signals gives Google very little to match a search against.

  • Ads are running and nobody knows if they work

Without call and form tracking, advertising is a monthly bill with no receipt. Clicks are not customers, and the difference is the entire question.

  • The last company promised page one

That promise is the most common opening line in this industry and it is not one anybody can keep. What can be promised is the work, and the numbers afterwards.

What's included

How this is scoped.

Every project begins with discovery. Features, integrations, timing, and final pricing are confirmed in your written proposal before development begins.

Growth

$500per month

Per month, no contract. Advertising budget is paid separately, direct to Google.

Everything in Website Care, plus the work that gets local customers to find you — and the tracking that shows which of it is producing calls.

YOUR ADVERTISING BUDGET IS SEPARATE and is paid by you, directly to Google — this monthly fee covers the management, not the media. You set the budget and you can change or stop it whenever you like. The three hours of website work are the TOTAL monthly allowance and replace the lower plan's one hour rather than adding to it; unused time does not roll over.

Grow My Online Presence

Starting scope

  • Everything in Website Care
  • Your Google Business Profile kept current — hours, services, photos, questions and new reviews
  • Local search work, so Google understands what you do and where you do it
  • Google Ads managed across one to two active campaigns, adjusted rather than left running
  • Calls and form submissions counted, so you can see what advertising actually produced
  • Website changes aimed at the pages and steps where visitors drop off
  • A monthly summary in plain language — what came in, from where, and what we changed
  • Three hours of website work each month
  • Your requests go ahead of non-plan work

Quoted separately

  • Advertising spend — you pay Google directly, and we never handle your ad budget
  • Facebook, Instagram and Meta advertising
  • Unused time does not roll over
  • Full redesigns, major features and applications require separate approval
  • Professional photography, video and extensive copywriting are quoted separately
  • No guaranteed rankings, traffic, leads, sales, revenue or performance scores — and be wary of anyone who offers them

Before you ask for a quote

What changes the number, and what to have ready.

Published prices are starting points. These are the things that move them, stated up front rather than discovered halfway through.

What the price depends on

  • Most of this is included in the Growth plan at $500 a month, alongside website care
  • Your advertising budget, which is separate, set by you, and paid directly to Google
  • How many services and service areas genuinely need their own page
  • Whether your Google Business Profile is already claimed, or has to be recovered
  • Advertising beyond one to two campaigns, which is scoped and quoted separately
  • Photography, video and extensive copywriting, which are quoted separately

What to have ready

  • Access to your Google Business Profile — or a note that nobody knows who controls it, which is common and fixable
  • Access to any existing Google Ads, Analytics and Search Console accounts
  • The services you want to be found for, and the areas you actually travel to
  • A monthly advertising budget you are comfortable with, if you want ads running
  • Photos of real, completed work, which are worth more here than stock imagery

Afterwards

What happens once it is live.

The part most quotes leave out.
  • Every account stays in your name. We work in them with access you grant and can remove ourselves at any time
  • Your advertising budget never passes through us and is never marked up
  • You get a monthly summary in plain language: what came in, from where, and what changed
  • Search work is measured over months, not weeks, and we will say so rather than reporting early noise as progress
  • No rankings, traffic, leads or revenue are guaranteed — by us or by anyone honest

Questions

What people ask before starting.

See all frequently asked questions
Can you help us show up better on Google?

Yes, and it's worth separating the two halves of that. There's the map listing — the box with your name, rating, photos and directions — and there are the ordinary search results underneath it. Most local customers act on the first one.

The work is unglamorous and specific: keeping your Google Business Profile accurate and active, making sure each service you sell has a page that says so clearly, telling Google where you actually work, and fixing the technical things that stop pages being read properly.

It's slow. You'd usually expect to notice a difference over a few months rather than a few weeks. If you need customers sooner than that, Google Ads is the part that starts this week — see the advertising questions below.

We don't guarantee rankings, traffic, leads or revenue, and it's worth being sceptical of anyone who does. What we will do is show you what came in, where it came from, and what we changed.

What is Google Business Profile management?

Your Google Business Profile is the listing that appears in Google Maps and on the right-hand side of search results — the hours, the photos, the services, the reviews. It's free, and it's the single biggest factor in whether you appear when somebody nearby searches for what you do.

Most businesses set one up once, years ago, and haven't touched it since. Managing it means keeping the hours and services right, adding photos of real work, answering the questions people post, keeping the description current, and making sure new reviews get a response.

The profile stays in your name. We work in it with access you grant, and you can remove that access at any time.

Do you manage Google Ads?

Yes — Google Ads management across one to two active campaigns is included in the Growth plan at $500 a month. Bigger advertising programmes are scoped and quoted separately.

In plain terms: you pay Google to put your business at the top when somebody searches for what you do. Unlike search work, it starts producing visits within days. You choose the areas and the services you want to advertise, and you set the monthly budget.

Managing it means adjusting the campaigns rather than switching them on and leaving them — turning off searches that waste money, adding the ones that don't, and checking what's actually producing calls rather than clicks.

Your advertising budget is separate. You set it, you pay Google directly, and you can change or stop it whenever you like — the monthly fee covers managing the campaigns, not the media.

Is advertising budget included in the monthly fee?

Your advertising budget is separate. You set it, you pay Google directly, and you can change or stop it whenever you like — the monthly fee covers managing the campaigns, not the media.

So a business advertising with us pays two separate amounts: $500 a month to Vistarela for the management, and whatever budget you've chosen to Google for the ads themselves. Your ad budget never passes through us and we never mark it up.

There's no minimum ad budget we require, and no commission on what you spend. If you'd rather not advertise at all, the rest of the plan works without it.

Do you guarantee we'll rank first on Google?

No, and we'd suggest treating any company that does with real suspicion. It's the most common opening line in the cold-call industry that targets local businesses, and it isn't a promise anybody is in a position to make.

Search results depend on your competitors, your reviews, how long your business has been established, how close the searcher is to you, and a long list of factors Google doesn't publish and no developer controls.

What we will do is the work that genuinely improves the odds, and then show you the numbers that matter: how many calls and quote requests came in, and which of them came from advertising.

We get all our work from referrals. Why would we need this?

That's the hardest thing in this business to build, and it isn't something to replace. But referrals and an online presence do different jobs.

When somebody gets your name from a neighbour, the first thing they usually do is look you up. What they find either confirms the recommendation or quietly undermines it. A referral that goes cold after someone checks you online never shows up as a lost lead — it just never becomes a call.

The second reason is timing. Referral volume moves with the market, and it tends to drop exactly when you'd most like it not to. Being findable is what covers that gap.

Do I own my website and my accounts?

Your accounts, yes, unambiguously. Your domain, Google Business Profile, Google Ads, Analytics and Search Console all stay in your name. We work inside them with access you grant, and you can remove that access whenever you like. Nothing we manage lives somewhere you can't reach it.

For the website itself: after final payment, ownership and source-code rights are handled according to your written agreement, subject to any third-party license restrictions on components used.

If you'd rather not use a managed plan, we provide a standard handoff to a compatible hosting account you control.
